These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yeittu platform (“Yeittu”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or using Yeittu, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yeittu. By using the platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
You are responsible for all activities under your account.

3. User-Generated Content

Yeittu allows users to upload audio posts, captions, and other content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant Yeittu a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, distribute, and display your content for platform operation.
You are solely responsible for the content you post.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Posting illegal, abusive, hateful, or harmful content
Impersonation or misrepresentation
Harassment or targeted abuse
Spamming, manipulation, or automated scraping

5. Content Moderation

Yeittu reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws. Moderation actions may be automated or manual.

6. Data Protection & Privacy

Yeittu processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using Yeittu, you consent to such processing.

7. GDPR & NDPR Compliance

Yeittu complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

7.1 User Rights

Right to access and correct personal data
Right to data portability
Right to object or restrict processing
Right to erasure (account deletion)
Right to withdraw consent

7.2 Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion at any time. Requests are subject to a brief cool-off period to prevent accidental deletion, after which personal data is permanently removed or anonymized.

7.3 International Transfers

Where personal data is processed outside your jurisdiction, Yeittu applies appropriate safeguards as required by law.

8. Termination

Yeittu may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

9. Disclaimer

Yeittu is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yeittu shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, including those of Nigeria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections under GDPR.
